Exterior
Parkhotel Laurin is located in the old town of Bolzano/Bozen. Museums, shops and other places of interest are only a few steps away. The South Tyrolean main town Bolzano/Bozen is a true melting pot of cultures. For centuries, merchants and artists on their way between Italy and the North came through Bolzano on the old Roman trade route. The brisk cross-border trade has strongly influenced life and culture in Bolzano, and led to the culturally open attitude of its citizens. Today Bolzano, whose official and commonly-spoken languages are German and Italian, is a modern European city which attracts business people and tourists from all over the world. What makes Bolzano even more attractive is its high quality of life, its visible proximity to the magnificent Dolomites, and its central position in the heart of Europe.
Rooms
Under the renowned architects Boris Podrecca and Albert Mascotti, the rooms were completely renovated between 1990 and 1998, and reconstructed in four different architectural styles, using only the best materials. Each room is decorated with original paintings and sculptures by 20th century artists. The suites are all south-facing, with views over the park. Some rooms offer balconies. All rooms and suites offer luxurious modern bathrooms, in marble.

Enjoy his light and contemporary cuisine, where the flavours of the Mediterranean meet the hearty tastes of the South Tyrolean mountains. Egon Heiss uses richness and freshness of the region’s best produce, as well as fresh fairtrade herbs. Locals are very proud of ”their“ Laurin Bar. Visitors come to soak up the unique and relaxing atmosphere: in the winter by the huge open fire place; in the summer, outside in the fresh air of the park’s Summer Lounge. Moreover, the Laurin bar is renowned for its unique Art Nouveau fresco paintings by Bruno Goldschmitt. Enjoy your morning cappuccino or a comfortable chat with colleagues, a selected apéritif before dinner, or a drink among friends with the backdrop of live piano music. The Summer Lounge offers six secret green oases for private moments. Guests can control light and volume individually for from their private “island“, and contact the Bar directly from their seat.
