This hotel, part of a renovated old convent, offers its guests the opportunity to discover this true ‘Andalusian’ village with its traditions of enjoying good food in a peaceful setting whilst surrounded by attractive countryside. The hotel reflects the town’s traditional style in every corner and detail. There is also a roof terrace where you can enjoy views over the landscapes while basking in the sun. Most of the rooms have beautiful views over the Guadalete River Valley and all of them are very quiet.
Arcos de la Frontera, a town that Azorín proclaimed as “one of the most beautiful in Spain” was founded at the highest point of a cliff. Arcos is the natural access to Grazalema mountains and heads the well known White Villages Route. Its good travel connections allow easy day trips to Jerez and Cadiz Bay. The old town of Arcos, which was declared Historic and Artistic Monument in 1962, is worth a visit without hurry, enjoying a walk through its sinuous streets, whitewashed houses, old convents and majestic churches. Besides the opportunity to discover Arcos´ old quarter, a visitor may go to the lake and participate in some of the water sports activities there. Also nearby is a golf course open to the public. After renovation and expansion, the hotel has 11 very well furnished rooms equipped with all the necessary for your stay. Some of the rooms have a balcony and some have a terrace (with a table and chairs). All have views of the Guadalete River Valley so you can sit back and enjoy the landscape. Some of the rooms have been named after well-known writers, poets or cultural people and even restaurant’s Chef.

Restaurant

El Convento restaurant brings to life the art of regional cooking. Food is served on the patio of a 17th century palace, located very close to the hotel, with its marble columns, wooden ceilings and coat of arms. Some of the specialities are "comendadora" garlic, abajao (asparagus soup and pheasant in paradise! Opening hours: 13.00-16.00 and 19.30-22.30 The restaurant closes one day per week. It is suitable for disabled guests.
