All rooms are furnished with period furniture and accessories to complement the architectural beauty of the building. Some rooms have a traditional Maltese wooden balcony. All rooms are equipped with bathroom, independent heating central air conditioning, wall to wall carpeting, telephone, TV, Wi-Fi.
The Hotel Castille is perfect for who wants to travel by car. The accommodation is with air conditioning. There is a mini-bus service for guests to the local airport.
The hotel provides either its own car park or a nearby one with a special agreement; being not included in the room price, for a paid parking the payment have to be carried out directly on the spot.
The Hotel Castille offers the use of a TV in the rooms. Accommodation has direct dial telephone in all rooms. The Hotel Castille rooms offers the use of an hairdryer.

I have stayed the castille many times and always appreciate the welcome and the location. the hotel is undergoing a major make over (needed!) in preparation for valletta's year as european city of culture, so the rooftop restaurant was closed, sadly, during my stay. as a result, breakfast was not the enjoyable experience it usually is. moreover, the hotel looked a bit like a building site inside which rather spoilt the ambiance, so it was probably not the best time to stay there. the exterior renovation is complete and looks wonderful, though, so i am sure all the disruption will be worth it in the end.
my only criticism is that there was no cover on the duvet, just a bed sheet under it. this was rather off putting as the duvet was grubby and very stained in places. i hope that the hotel will invest in some duvet covers and ensure that the duvets are regularly laundered in future. but i will ceratinly go back as it is my favourite valletta hotel.

We stayed in the hotel castille 2 nights, it was in a great location and we enjoyed our outings. the staff at reception were fantastic.
the room was smelly and dirty and badly in need of redecoration but roomy, the beds were very comfortable. the shower was good although the bathroom also was in need of redecoration.

Charming, helpful and welcoming reception. lovely, atmospheric old building in a good location for the bus station and the town. ample breakfast with a hot dish which changed each day but no maltese bread or food! we did not have dinner in the restaurant but noted that the lunch and dinner menus were the same so concluding that dinner would be reheated. the menu was repeated on the third day.it would be better value to go half board than pay each night;there are not many places to have dinner in the area. views from the rooftop restaurant were wonderful! we would stay again but not at the full price!

Excellent location , close to shops resturants, main sights and bus station. good size, comfortale room. bath room adequate. hotel staff helpful and friendly. good restaurant on top floor with superb views of valletta and other parts of the island. useful cafe on ground floor. good breakfast served in roof terrace restaurant. i can not understand why so few guides list this hotel

We loved it! it was a little faded and not everything was working (the one sided toaster!) but it was a most enjoyable experience. the staff were friendly and helpful and made us feel very much at home, the beds were especially comfortable and we would certainly go back again (as many of the quests had already). the hotel is certainly of the old era and not your mordern tourist type, which we appreicated. it is ideally situated, right next to the prime minsters offices and has a wonderful roof top restaurant which overlooks the grand harbour. the le cave restaurant is certainly good value and excellent food.

I arrived very late in the evening for my second stay at the castille and was greeted with sandwiches and tea. after a long day and a late flight, this was most welcome and epitomises the kind service that is typical of the hotel. i also requested another lamp in my room because it was impossible yo work with poor lighting (perhaps the least helpful aspect of the simngle rooms), and this was [provided promptly.
i enjoy staying in the castille, although thw single rooms are rather small and crowded!next time i may try a double room...but i will certainly be back as it is a wonderful place to stay in the heart of valletta.

This is definitely not a luxury hotel but then you don't go to malta to sit in your hotel all day! our room was a triple, very basic, old tatty carpet on the floor, 3 very rickety beds, only sheet and 1 very worn blanket, a hand-held shower in the resonably sized bathroom and not much else but there is a lovely atmosphere, the location is superb and the staff are extremely helpful and professional. and it was very reasonably priced!

The position of this charming hotel is its most delightful asset. the roof restaurant has fabulous vies over the agrnd harbour and the sights and sounds of valletta are on the doorstep. wonderful old fashioned service.
