Rome at christmas

Crosti appartments were ideal for a short stay in rome at christmas. the rooms were clean and fully acceptable with great balcony - though not in the centre of all the activity, transport was easy.
on the day we arrived there was a problem with the boiler so we had no hot water - but did have heating. the staff at reception said that this happens often and there is no way to deal with it as it was a bank holiday(boxing day). we had to heat water on the hob in order to have a wash. it was repaired the next day
