Fitness and pool close too soon

I expected to use the fitness and the pool but it was already closed by the time i arrived the hotel. the shuttle service to rome city is very useful. staffs were very friendly and helpful. breakfast were great. bath tub is very large.

Only for a quick stay

We booked the hilton because it was attached to the airport and we had a very early departure and a very late arrival from greece. on the first stay we tried to order room service, the room didn't have a menu and we were promptly brought one however when we tried to order it was the wrong one. we finally received the correct menu just before midnight after a wait of 40 minutes. on our second night we arrived a lot later than expected due to a flight delay so we got into the room just before 4am. would've been a good sleep if two separate hotel staff hadn't disturbed us at 10am (checkout isn't til 12). the first one just rang the bell and my husband happened to be up next to the door, the second one rang the bell then opened the door with his key! the room and hotel itself are clean so it really is ok for a bed. if you book it because you are arriving late however we discovered that the walkway from terminal 3 is closed between 12-5am so you have to walk out of the airport across to the train station and then back to the hotel.

Ideal for rome centre from cruise

Good hotel, decent sized rooms with good breakfast connected to the airport. we had been on a cruise and had an early flight home the following day. the free bus into rome centre every two hours was ideal. would definitely stay again in similar circumstances.

Impersonal competence

We last stayed in this hotel 4 years ago and notice effects of downturn of the economy with poorer breakfast choices etc.and fewer free cable tv stations available. it is not the hotel to stay in if you want to see rome as access via hotel bus is infrequent and public trans;port is not great, but if you do not have a car it really is the only good option for the airport as it is the only hotel where you can access terminals by foot. allow extra time if you are going to the usa via a us carrier for the terminal d which is very badly done, though this is not the fault of the hotel-note, i am a 55 year old woman, traveling with my 19 year old son, the receptionist wanted to give us a matrimonial bed, of course i had requested twin, this has never happened to us before and this insensitivity should not happen in a hotel in this price range, my son was very upset.
