Mostly excellent, but watch the lifts

Usual ibis good value for money, comfort, breakfast, and style. we will stay again, and overall standard was excellent.

but if checking out during the morning busy time (that is, when the very large number of residents are trying to go up or down the lifts to breakfast or check out) give yourself masses of time. it's a big hotel, and there are many floors. for us each lift opened (we were on floor 5) to show it was full. then it slowly went to other floors and loaded up again. with heavy suitcases you can panic if you have a deadline to catch a plane or train, and cannot get on a lift. there aren't enough of them and one was inactive in the morning. a bit of chaos.
