The lobby is small in size and in excellent condition with dark wooden antique furniture.
On arrival everything inpresses about this property. Masserias used to be the private houses of noble people in the past, they were all built in a very typical style with local white stone. The sighting tower was used to spot the arrival of saracens, the infamous turkish pirates. The building dates back to the 16th century and these type of buildings are an important part of the Puglia region history.
No room is alike in this extraordinary resort. Some are found in antique caves, other in the antique tower which was used for spotting the turkish pirates in the 16th century, and others again are in the courtyard with their own orchard garden. Every room is a suprise, both for the detail the owners have put in the furnishings( all hand made furniture and precious upholstery) and for their location in this unique and magnificient private land. All bathrooms are in excellent condtions and have all the facilities one would expect.
The restaurant is in the main building, and offers the best of the this regions cuisine, only using the organic products that their land produces. The chef is one of the best in the region and the Masseria also offers cooking lessons and a special cooking course.
