Exterior
The whole complex has been built to resemble a traditional Cretan village, complete with a main square, houses and workshops. The new swimming pool area Delphys is a refreshing addition available for a relaxing swim or suntanning on the deckchairs.
Rooms
The rooms are of a traditional style with white washed walls and dark wood. All rooms come with balcony, direct dial telephone and air conditioning. Some of the rooms have a fireplace. The furnishing is in a quite basic rustic style.
Restaurant
There is a main restaurant which offers Greek dishes cooked with all due respect to tradition and original ingredients.
Location
The Arolithos Village is situated about 10 kilometres from the city of Heraklion in the mountains above. The Minoan palace of Knossos is just a short drive away.
