Baden-Baden: what to see

Baden-Baden was the most sought after location for the European aristocracy and artists in the nineteenth century. In fact it was called the summer capital of Europe. How to reach Baden-Baden

Baden-Baden airport is operated by many air carriers and is only 15 km away from the city. The closest international airports are Strasbourg (60 km / 37 miles) and Stuttgart (100 km / 62 miles). The city is easily reachable by train from Paris, Vienna, Stuttgart, Berlin, Hamburg and Munich. The main highways are A5 from Basel to Frankfurt, A8 Munich/Karlsruhe and B500 federal highway linking France/Black Forest/Switzerland.
