Built in 1465 the hotel retains its original design of an old Coaching Inn. The exterior has a traditional Tudor frontage (as does the interior) and it is one of the oldest Inns in East Anglia and deserving of it's Grade I listed status.

The Parliament Restaurant is set in an old banqueting hall, with plush reds and timbered beams throughout, providing a warm, intimate environment to enjoy freshly prepared and locally sourced cuisine. It is open for breakfast or a mid morning snack and guests can choose from an a la carte or table d'hote menu. There is also a great historic bar full of period features.
