Great central town location

This is the second time i have stayed in the george, the reason being its central location. the price of my room was very competitive and this was reflected in the room itself, which was quite small, incredibly squeaky uneven flooring, which is to be expected in an old listed building. the en-suite facilities were fine, but my room was at the front of the building overlooking the high street, and there is a fair amount of noise, which again you would expect from a central hotel. my previous room was at the back of the hotel and was considerably larger, and this was reflected in the price. you pay your money....
there is a hotel car park at the back of the hotel, but i was surprised to be asked for a £10 payment for 1 days parking, i think this should be complementary with a booking.
