Opened in January 2006, the Catalonia Las Cortes is a palace built in the eighteenth century. The frescoes and the main staircase that are inside have been carefully preserved and restored. The hotel also features a café, a library, a restaurant serving international cuisine in the evening and two rooms on the first floor, bright and located in the old ballroom of the palace. The hotel has 65 rooms decorated in a classical style and all equipped with every modern comfort. The suites are all different and have even been preserved frescoes on the ceiling. This is our 2nd visit to this hotel. our room was slightly smaller than last time and we had a problem with the door into the en-suite bathroom as it would not close. we complained but they were unable to fix it immediately. the breakfasts are good and the bar area is super.
