The renovated rooms look good and have excellent river views. The non- renovated rooms are still clean and well-maintained but they look very dated. The hotel still has a system of room attendants on each floor responsible for keys, phone charges and calls and other services. These women are renowned for not missing a thing and control carefully who enters the floor and who doesn't.
Restaurant
The restaurant is located on the first floor through a small hallway and stairwell. The food is some of the finest in Kostroma. The decor is quite overstated and vulgar with much rococco and velvet and there is quite prominent music, but the food is quite exquisite. It is Russian cuisine at its best. Private dining rooms are available.
