Lobby
The entire hotel has undergone major renovations. The lobby is small but cosy with ample seating on very comfortable and plump armchairs. The colours of the lobby are predominantly green and blue with dark wooden walls.
Exterior
The building is modern in contrast to its immediate surroundings, but seems to blend in well due to its size.
Rooms
Medium in size but renovated to an extremely high standard and thus offering some of the nicest accommodation in Amsterdam. The colour scheme is mainly green, blue and yellow with wood furniture and all in very good condition, also all the bedrooms have air conditioning and are exceedingly cosy. The bathrooms maintain a lot of their original features, but still keeping with the high standard of the hotel.
Restaurant
Breakfast only is served on the first floor where there is a terrace used in the summer. Other meals are taken at the hotel located opposite. In the slower months there is very little demand for breakfast in the NH Caransa, and that is why they serve breakfast in the NH Schiller, where it is more lively and a better athmosphere.
