The lobby is large and bare with its main feature being the recently restored impressive iron staircase.
The hotel has a unique exterior due to the fact that it is an historical building originally built as an orphanage. It is traditional in style and is reached by a small forecourt.
The bedrooms vary in size but none are small, all are medium and quite basic although unique in style with drop down silver lighting. They are in fair condition, as are the bathrooms.
The restaurant has recently been renovated and now features attractive wooden floorboards and is in the style of a French brasserie. It serves international cuisine and overlooks the forecourt of the hotel. In the summer, there is a terrace where one can have a drink outside and there is also a garden where meals may be taken in the summer.
