Deluxe and superior suites feature high ceiling, polished wooden floors, open plan bedroom, separate sitting area and spacious bathrooms. All rooms haveboth air-conditioning and ceiling fan. Deluxe and superior vary only slightly in design and size. Deluxe suites face the Yangoon river or are general a little more spacious. "STRAN SUITE" measures almost 200 square metres and includes a large bedroom with a canopy bed and attached bedroom, small study. living room, verandah and dinning room with attached butler's pantry.
Restaurant
The Strand Cafe, with its big, teak- framed windows, look out onto Strand road. Globe chandelter lighting, floor of tile inlaid with teak, dinning chairs of sturdy egg-cane rattan and black ceiling fans and corners, a timeless charm. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served, with menu featuring burmese and Western cuisine.The strand grill is perhaps Yangoon's most elegant dinning room. More upbeat music is found in the "STRAND BAR". There, amid the teak tables and long bar, a three-piece Jazz band performs nightly.
