Lobby
The lobby in the Ferringhi Tower is medium in size and modern in design to rival the best city hotels. The look is elegant with wood, mirrors, and marble. The lobby in the Beach Wing is an open air concept and offers very much a 'resort' feeling.
Exterior
The newly renovated exterior is in good condition with 2 wings. The Beach Wing, as its name indicates, is right on the beach front, and, connected by a pedestrian walkway, the Ferringhi Tower across the road is a high-rise building flanked by the green Penang forest behind. Its sea-facing rooms look over the Beach Wing for a view of the Malacca Straits.
Rooms
The Ferringhi Tower Hillview rooms offer views of the lush green hills, tastefully decorated with wickerwork and new upholstery, and include marble bathrooms with separate walk-in shower and bath tub and modern amenities. They have an area ranging from 30 to 35 square meters and offer two single beds or a king size. They offer a full range of modern conveniences.
Restaurant
The main restaurant in this tower provides guests with a cosy and quiet ambience amidst a charming environment and serves a wide selection of international buffet breakfasts daily. While this hotel also provides another outlet in the other wing with an open concept restaurant with ethnic furnishings and ceiling fans, serving an array of international and local cuisine all day and barbecue dinners on the patio. This restaurant overlooks the pool, gardens, and ocean.
