The old farmhouse, which is the main building of the Residence, is located on top of a hill, was once owned by the noble Sienese family of Piccolomini. Described in the Cadastre Leopold, was bought by the current owners at the beginning of the twentieth century and was used for the same farm since the early eighties. It has recently been renovated respecting the rural environment to achieve comfortable amenities in the apartments. The willingness of owners to welcome guests to the countryside to visit Siena was maintained, its surroundings and other parts of Tuscany, offering all the comforts of a modern structure. The entire complex is surrounded by a garden which, through well-marked trails, provides access to the great and ancient olive trees for relaxing walks.
