Exterior
Situated on the north west side of Calabria, Scalea is one of the most picturesque town on the tyrrenean coast. With its beautiful beaches which streach for several kilometres, it is blessed with beautiful warm sunshine almost all year round. Very popular in the summer months like july and august, it is also very enjoyable in the spring and late summer/autumn when the weather is still hot, the sea warm and less crowded. The surrounding area is dotted with small picturesque villages where throughout the summer months they stage religious festas and cultural events. Scalea is also situated in the Pollino National Park and only one hour drive from La Sila National Park with its beautiful forests, lakes and ski pistes.
Rooms
The hotel has 52 large bedrooms, very well appointed, some of them facing the sea, and all provided with shower/wc, hairdryer, color tv with remote control, fridge bar, direct dial phone, individual air conditioning. The hotel has also two disabled rooms.
Restaurant
Comfortable and cosy room provided with air conditioning and a big veranda, international and regional cuisine; buffet breakfast, silver service lunch and dinner, and a rich vegetable buffet; weekly we use to purpose calabrese styleparties. There are three bars: the bar in the hall, the American bar by the swimming pool, and the kiosk bar at the lido.
Location
Newly built in the year 2000 the Felix is a seaside hotel situated on the north tyrrhenean coast of Mediterranean sea. It has 52 well appointed bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms, confortable furniture, telephone, t.v, radio , hairdrier ,mini-bar and air conditioning. All the rooms have a small balcony with many overlooking the sea and others with mountain views. It has a beautiful swimming pool ( 20m x 8m) surrounded by a nice terrace on to which the sun shines all day long. The restaurant serves excellent food utilising local produce and fresh fish, all prepared and served by professional friendly staff. The hotel also has its own private beach/lido equipped with sun-loungers, umbrellas, beach volley, canoes, pedalo, showers and bar. During the summer months the hotel offers its guests daily programmes of keep fit exercises and entertainment for adults and children.
