Very quiet

Lovely looking from the the outside, not so spectacular once you're inside. the facilities in the room were a little lacking- the hair dryer and television were pretty ancient. breakfast wasn't particularly exciting.
however, it was a generally nice quiet area, and close to the metro stop, the staff were also very friendly.

A most unusual hotel.

An interesting hotel, attached to an ancient basilica,- but not particularly tourist friendly - difficult to find the entrance, and long corridors to negotiate to get to the bedrooms. looked as though these were originally the monks lodgings - very high ceilings, old heavy furniture, narrow hard beds, shower cubicle in the bathroom comprised a curtain and duckboard to stand on. continental breakfast was good, and hotel was clean. reception staff not particularly helpful, and minimal knowledge of the english language.
