Located close to the UK Embassy in Rome, the 3-star Hotel Flavia is in between the park of Villa Borghese and the main train station Stazione Termini. The hotel lies in Rione Sallustiano, a very quiet and safe part of the capital, just 15 minutes by walk away from the centre of the ancient Rome. The hotel's classic style façade overlooks the via Flavia, the interiors are plain and homely, floors are served by lift. Many of the rooms are large and bright; some have view on the private courtyard. All the rooms have air conditioning, flat TV, mini bar, bathroom with shower, hairdryer and toiletries. Free Wi-Fi Internet connection is provided in the common areas of the hotel. The complimentary buffet breakfast is a mix of cold and hot dishes, there is a reading room, in the courtyard garden there is a smoker’s corner where to relax. The Hotel Flavia is close to some bus and metro stations, so it is very easy to get around Rome from it by public transport, even if the hotel is at walking distance from the Coliseum, the Roman Forum and the Pantheon. In the ancient time, the Rione Sallustiano was part of the Horti Sallustiani, the richest and largest private gardens of the Roman Empire; here were discovered many of the objects exposed at the Museo Nazionale Romano, as the Trono Ludovisi. Close to the hotel there are many good restaurants and many of the most famous places of Rome: Via Veneto, the park of Villa Borghese, Trinità dei Monti, the Trevi Fountain are within 10 minutes by walk, while to Piazza di Spagna it's a 15 minutes stroll.

Hotel flavia

Just 'ok' for a moderately priced hotel in rome. my list of cons is bigger than my list of pros. for example, the staff is unfriendly and ill-informed (i.e., they didn't know the cost of a cab from the hotel to the airport), the breakfast isn't worth it, our room was very musty smelling. on the pro side, the bathroom was a good size and recently updated. the bottom line is that your money would be better spent elsewhere.
