The Hotel occupies three storeys, respectively designated the storeys of the Mappamondi (maps of the world), Fiori (flowers) and Battaglie (battles). On the roof garden and terrace you can enjoy breakfast while admiring the famous dome of St Peter's.
Rooms
Hotel dei Consoli features 26 beautifully-appointed rooms plus 2 junior suites in a sumptuous, fully-restored building dating back to the late 19th century. Each storey is decorated with Baroque paintings which set the tone for the hotel’s interior design. Rooms are available on all three storeys, respectively designated the storeys of the Mappamondi (maps of the world), Fiori (flowers) and Battaglie (battles). All rooms are fully equipped with every conceivable convenience in an atmosphere where everything – from the furniture down to the smallest detail – exudes elegance and refinement. Furniture of solid hardwood, silk upholstery and porcelain bathroom fittings enhance the Empire opulence of this refined hotel. Air conditioning adds to the comfort, and guest also have Internet, satellite TV, radio and e-mail and fax services at their disposal. Of the 26 rooms, 18 are Superior category (with shower) and 6 are Deluxe category (with hydromassage tub). The 2 junior suites also feature hydromassage tubs. If you’re coming on a romantic break – on honeymoon, for example – we strongly advise you to reserve a Deluxe room: or better still, a Junior Suite!
Restaurant
The hotel has a pleasant breakfast room on the first floor with red easy-chairs and wooden coffee tables. The breakfast room leads to the first floor of rooms, called the 'Floor of globes'.

Hotel dei Consoli is in the heart of Rome, in one of the city's most prestigious quarters, just a short walk from the Vatican, Trastevere and Piazza di Spagna. The nearest metro station is Ottaviano San Pietro, which is just 50 metres from the hotel. St Peter's, the Vatican Museums with the Sistine Chapel and Michelangelo's Last Judgement, Bernini's Piazza at St Peter's and Castel S. Angelo are just some of the artistic treasures within walking distance of Hotel dei Consoli. Other attractions - Trastevere, Piazza di Spagna, Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, the Trevi Fountain, Galleria Borghese and the Colosseum - are just a few hops away by bus or metro.
