This is a superior 4 star hotel, excellent for all types of guests. The hotel has recently opened a 'Fitness Centre' offering body massage, aerobics.
The hotel is located 5 mins walk from Central Station. There are 2 metro stations nearby, as well as many nice restaurants and other 4 star hotels.

Lobby

The lobby is quite small with a marble floor. On approaching the reception one must first walk through a small courtyard.

Exterior

This is a tall sky scraper building about 30 stories high. Modern in appearance the building is well kept and resembles a classic American modern office block found in almost any major American city.

Rooms

All the rooms are large (suites) and kept in very good condition as are the bathrooms.All rooms have their own coffee or tea making facilities which is very popular with the international clientele who frequent this hotel. Internet terminals are available in all rooms.

Good hotel in good location

Our first time visit to milan. the airports a far out so the hotel near the statione centrale is very handy.

the hotel is not obvious from the street but we found it easily enough usine the street number.

the reception staff were helpful and knowledge of english excellent. the rooms were quite large and the decor reasonable but a little dated looking and clean.

coffee and tea facilities provided but you need to ask for milk from the reception.

for quite a big hotel there were no ironing facilities in the room. we requested an iron and i was informed there were only 2 for the whole hotel and would be put on the waiting list. we never saw it.

the noise from the street is quite significant. we were on the 5th floor. this is not surprising being so central.

milan itself has a great transport system and very cheap. the duomo is a bit more than 15 minutes walk - but there are trams and metro minutes away.

we noticed a bakers and many restaurants and small shops nearby.

breakfast is buffet style, plentiful an good.

the restaurant serves decent food but the fruit salad not fresh but from a can. menu choice is limited.

for exploring and orientating yourself in milan, or for day trip out of milan the hotel is a good location with all you need.
