Located on the southern slopes of Gorizia Castle, the hotel is set within the restructured 16th-century palace of the Counts Strassoldo, once home to the Court of the French King, Charles X.

At the Entourage Grand Hotel the pleasure to choose between eight suites and more than thirty rooms, all air-conditioned and with four star comforts: satellite TV, telephone, minibar, safety-deposit box and internet links. During the first half of the XIX century, Strassoldo Palace‘s rooms housed the last of France’s Royal Bourbons and their entourage, many distinguished names that accompanied that period’s history. Today, every room and flat recall the name of one of the august guests or of their dignitaries, who come to life again in the present atmosphere, making new patrons’ sojourn more intriguing.

40 full-option rooms, the restaurant and wine cellar, bring back the glorious past of the Bourbons. Strassoldo Palace is now the seat of the Entourage Grand Hotel, a quality, four star establishment, which has been able to match a remote past with travellers’ – either for leisure or business - current requirements.

The Grand Hotel Entourage is perfectly located to reach, on foot, all the interest points in Gorizia: the first entrance to the city, located in the Lantieri Palace, is just across the street; the Castle of Gorizia, with the very interesting Museum of Fashion and Museum of the Great War, is just round the corner; and, just a few minutes away, you will find the Palace Attems-Petzenstein, with its events and exhibitions, as well as the Coronini-Cronberg Palace, with the several collections of Count Guglielmo Coronini.
