This is a new building recently built within the complex of Torre Normanna offering a Hotel service in alternative to the already existing bungalows and village category .

The 137 rooms at the Villaggio Torre Normanna Altavilla Milicia, all with private bathrooms and 6 suites, most overlooking the blue sea of Sicily. Luxuriously furnished and equipped with air conditioning, hair dryer, direct telephone, at the request of television and minibar.

The hotel restaurant offers an a la carte menu and several dishes with table service (drinks are not included).
Location
Altavilla Milicia is 24 km. from the historic centre of Palermo, which province it belongs to. The municipality has approximately 5,500 inhabitants and its area covers 2,379 hectares. It is set on a hilly area near the coast and is 70 metres above sea-level. It is important in the agricultural field for its citrus fruit, olive trees and vines.The small town took its name from Altavilla, in honour of the most powerful Norman family whose leaders were the Great Count Ruggero and his brother Roberto the Guiscardo. Around 1060 they began to conquer Sicily and rid it of Arabian domination.The town’s Cathedral Church is now the destination for many pilgrimages. The church and the baronial palace, Beccadelli, are placed in an unusual position: they are side to side with a panoramic view of the coast.
