This complex was designed to be one of the most exclusive resorts in French Polynesia. It offers 48 over-water suites and 12 beach villas of more than 100 m� in size. "Uporu" island, known as Taha'a, is a wild little paradise located 230 km west of Papeete in Tahiti , in the Society Islands Archipelago. The resort is located on Motu Tautau on the coral reef, facing the island of Taha'a on the lagoon side and offering a great view of Bora Bora island on the ocean side. 5 minutes by boat from the island of Taha'a and 35 min by boat from Raiatea Island. Taha'a has a pleasant vanilla aroma in the air; this is grown by the locals along with watermelon and copra. The island is flower shaped, surrounded by soft mountains and small motu with sandy beaches.

The restaurants also host beach barbecues and Polynesian and seafood buffets and there is live entertainment.
