Swish hotel in a great location for train and tube. liked the modern style and the bathroom was amazing ! friendly staff and great breakfasts for a day exploring the city. would consider staying there again on a short-break to the city

Quick visit

I stayed for one night only in order to visit the theatre without rushing to catch last trains. the hotel is quietly stylish, beautifully clean and the staff were at all times courteous and helpful. it made my quick visit most pleasurable rather than a hurried experience. thank you to all concerned.

Happy stay

Stayed at the megaro for one night after flying back from a week's holiday in new york and to break our journey back to yorkshire. we specifically wanted this area as we had heavy cases and didn't want to be far from kings cross station. we have usually opted for the novotel but as it had no availability thought we'd try the megaro, which was a bit cheaper anyway. arrived at about 11.45 am very tired after long flight but couldn't check in until 2pm. however, they did let us leave our cases and we returned after a couple of hours.initially, perhaps because the entrance looks very small and we thought we may have traffic noise, i was a bit dubious, but after seeing how spotlessly clean everything was and the thoughtful touches such as the excellent coffee maker, the great shower, the fridge supplied with a little bottle of milk, the security access to the bedrooms etc i was much happier. as it happened, we slept really well in the very comfy bed and weren't aware of the traffic noise. all the staff were really helpful and pleasant and the continental breakfast was very nice.we will stay again.
