Exterior
It's a stunning Georgian style building. The mansion took its name from an earlier resident, the Sicilian Duke of Cannizaro and his Scottish wife. They lived here from 1817 until 1841, when they died within a few months of one another.

Location
There is so much to do around the neighbourhood. On a sunny day there isn’t much better escape from everyday city life than an amble around some of the 1,140 acres of Wimbledon Common. If you would like, the hotel can arrange a horse to ride around on, or if that’s a bit daunting you are more than welcome to borrow a bike.
