This is a groovy hotel in a fantastic location. Harpers & Queen magazine described the hotel as "London's chicest hotel". According to the Evening Standard newspaper "it's London's hottest crash pad for style slaves". Great for a short stay

Whacky decor! very cosy, not enough room to swing a cat, had to turn sideways to get into the shower but loved the atmosphere of my room (indian summer). bed was extremely uncomfortable but for two nights it was ok. very indifferent and slightly rude offhand staff at reception.

Fine for a long weekend

Hotel was really well decorated (we had the diamonds room), and the breakfast was fine. it was clean and in good order. the location left a little to be desired, there were a few unsavory types hanging round outside most of the time, but it was close to a good choice of restaurants and within easy reach of the tube. the night-porter wasn't particularly helpful and the bathrooms were very compact. i think it was a little expensive for the service we got but it was a fun place to stay.
