A hidden gem

Booking had not been passed on to hotel so not the best start - fortunately they managed to find me a room. hotels.click.com need to ensure bookings are passed on; on this occasion i was lucky that they found me a room.

fabulous bedroom, spacious bathroom with lovely molten brown toiletries.

restaurant food and service excellent, market menu especially great value for money and love the fact it is locally sourced produce.

left a small package to be collected by a colleague, unfortunately the message was not passed on resulting in my colleague having to go back for a second time to collect package. room for improvement.

Bonham

The bonham is a jewel in edinburgh's west end. stylish and beautifully restored, with a tasteful modeern juxtaposition against the fabulous period features.
teh rooms are beautifully but simply decorated, with flashes of striking colours, and with all the modern business facilities.
the service was flawless - because the dining room was closed for a private function (burns supper) bonhams laid on a taxi for us to their sister hotel for dinner - a fine contrast and all without fuss.
highly recommended.
