It is a fine example of early sixteenth-century architecture and was initially the home of Henry Roper, gentleman servant to Catherine of Aragon. In 1535 Robert Wright took up residence and named this lovely house his Manor of Mary Green after his young bride.

Attractive hotel with wonderful staff offering an excellent service

We stayed here on saturday 9th november. we had come down from yorkshire to visit family and as a treat booked an extra room for them. we were really impressed with the hotel inside and out. the lady on reception was delightful and we joked together about the hotel being haunted.we were handed a brochure on the history of the hotel, which was a lovely idea. all the staff we saw were very friendly and professional and there was a lovely atmosphere.

This is an excellent hotel

Having stayed twice here now i am pleased to say that the standards are excellent, the location so convenient to the m25 and the staff very helpful. the rooms are well provisioned and comfortable.

Good value venue

We had a lovely room with a small seating area. it was comfortable and sufficiently spacious for our one night stay. a large wardrobe and iron and ironing board for those so inclined. the continental breakfast was included in this stay and was quite generous with as much tea/coffee as required, a range of cereals, breads (croissants) yoghourt and fruit.

Marygreen manor brentwood

We had an excellent stay here for my son's 16th birthday treat. it was a fantastic location, beautiful hotel and at a great price. our rooms were situated next to a lovely courtyard and garden and the breakfast was one of the best we have ever had at a hotel.

Excellent venue

Our group of 30 celebrated a family birthday here. the food and service was first class. the private function room was perfect for the occasson.
our overnight accommodation in the courtyard rooms was good.
