The new Suvarnabhumi airport is located in Racha Thewa in Bang Phli district, Samut Prakan Province, about 25 kilometers east of Bangkok, on the way to Pattaya. It replace the old Don Muang International Airport. The new airport, about 40 km from the old, will operate only international fly, while the Don Muang Airport will operate only national fly.
Lobby is large and decorated on grey marble floor with the combination of black granite, maple wood and glass. The lobby lounge is on the left handside, spacious and bright, plenty of black and brown sofa seatings. The refreshment bar is adjacent.

Superior rooms are medium sized with restful decoration and excellent soundproofing. Each room is decorated in stylish modern furnitures offering either cityview or garden and poolview. Bathrooms are medium sized and in good condition with excellent amenities provided. Rooms on execulive floor are slightly larger with private terrace overlooking the swimming pool, private checkin area is provided for VIP client. Rooms are half parquet floor and half carpet.
The choice ranges from seafood and steaks to traditional Thai cuisine, international and Asian menu at the coffee shop. All tastes are catered for in some style for an airport hotel. There is also a Japanese restaurant and a bar and grill with live entertainment in the evenings. The pool bar is available along with fast food booth providing quick meal at the pedestrian airbridge.
