Lobby
The medium sized lobby is wonderfully elegant with beautiful carved woodwork and a pale tiled floor. There is also a small seating area.
Exterior
It is actually quite a modern building, but it is traditional in style with plenty of exposed woodwork and intricate detailing.
Rooms
The rooms are beautiful. They are all different shapes and sizes (on average they are large though) and the decoration varies from room to room. Overall, though, the style of the rooms is a fine balance between rustic and more elegant traditional Swiss styles. Both the rooms and the bathrooms are in exceptional condition.
Restaurant
The restaurant, which is located on the ground floor, continues the theme of refined elegance combined with traditional Swiss rustic charm. This hotel comes highly recommended, it is one of Zermatt's loveliest four star properties. It is also particularly suitable for young families as it has a large childrens' play room.
