At the end of the 19th century, the hotel Silberhorn was built as one of the first hotels in Wengen. Its popularity increased strongly, especially for international guests who were visiting the hotel Silberhorn. The hotel has been regularly refurbished to warrant all comforts. It's located right in the centre of the village and it's the perfect starting point for various excursions around the Jungfrau region. Dinner, which is part of the halfboard arrangement, is served in the dining room. Each evening, the chef creates an excellent 5-course dinner with choice of main courses and always with a vegetarian option. Once a week the hotel pamper the guests with a special theme buffet and a 6-course Gala dinner. Also, the hotel has an à la carte restaurant. Depending the time of the day, the hotel serve hot and cold meals at the restaurant Silberhorn-Stube. The menu provides a wide choice of traditional Swiss cuisine such as raclette and fondue as well as pasta, different salads and schnitzel. All the hotel rooms are equipped with bath tub/WC, cable TV, hairdryer, safe-box, minibar (filled up on request) and tea and coffee making facilities. Slippers and bathrobe are available on request.
