Lobby

The lobby is small and leads to some seating areas, and is decorated in a mixture of modern and traditional styles.

Exterior

The modern building as its name suggests is predominantly red and can therefore not be missed.

Rooms

The small rooms are decorated in basic style combining the old with the new. The bathrooms are also small, and like the rooms are in fair condition. Certainly, some redecoration could be beneficial.

Restaurant

The A la carte restaurant is located on the ground floor to the left of the reception desk. It is traditionally Swiss serving national specialities. There is another restaurant located to the right of the reception which is a type of coffee shop. The style here is quite traditional with dark wooden furniture, but it is not as typical as the a la carte restaurant. The more modern group dining rooms is upstairs. There is also a very traditional banquet/private dining room which has an original firepla fireplace and antique ornaments.

The Hotel Rothaus is perfect for who wants to travel by car. Guests can use the hotel's restaurant. There is a mini-bus service to the city centre. Guests have access to an overhead projector to better support meetings, etc.. There is a projector available for the use in meetings. The hotel is great for those who travel for work.

The hotel provides either its own car park or a nearby one with a special agreement; being not included in the room price, for a paid parking the payment have to be carried out directly on the spot.

The Hotel Rothaus offers the use of a TV in the rooms. Accommodation has direct dial telephone in all rooms. The accommodation offers a radio service for its guests.
