The lobby is small and high-ceilinged narrow area, centred on a wide wooden reception desk. It has limited seating and leads to a grand old elevator.
It is an impressive traditional facade which overlooks an attractive cul-de-sac with statues and manicured flower borders.
All rooms are in very good condition, although they differ in size. 25% are of small size, 50% are medium sized and 25% are large. The rooms have undergone major renovation since 1995 and are now furnished to an elegant, high standard throughout. In general colours used are deep red or blue with traditionally-patterned curtains completing the 'grand' feel. The bathrooms are in very good condition.
