This hotel is functional rather than aiming to impress its guests. it would generally appear that staff are prepared to do their job, and not go much beyond that in the way they deal with visitors. there is enough to eat at breakfast that is wholesome, but the quality of the food has a "cash and carry" feel, rather than a home-made deli/bakery image, which other hotels seem to enjoy doing. the hotel does not offer good value for money generally.
access from the narrow street outside (eduardo dato) is up a flight of steps. there is a stair lift, which could probably be used for luggage as well as guests with disabilities, but there were no instructions to be seen on how to use it; not did any member of staff point out how it might be used. the entrance to the hotel is also narrow, which means that incoming guests sometimes have to wait in the street outside (which can be busy despite its width),in order to allow others to come out of the hotel
the good points about this hotel were its location in relation to public transport, shops and sights, and there were no complaints about its rooms and cleanliness of the facilities.
