Dating back to 1897, the first and most striking part of the hotel is the lobby. It sets the standards of traditional elegance which are to be found throughout the hotel.

A stunning 3 storey traditional baroque style building.
Rooms
All the rooms have been refurbished to a high standard, incorporating both elegance and modern comfort. Trouser press, mini bar and satellite television are standard in all rooms, and several rooms come with jacuzzi. Half of the rooms have wooden flooring. All are in traditional style and in very good condition, as are the bathrooms.
Restaurant
The hotel has 3 restaurants, including Trondheim's most popular - Palmehaven, which is a botanical garden eatery, its centre piece being the bright atrium and stunning plants. There is also a brasserie and a charming local style restaurant.
