Lobby
The lobby is accessed via a heavy wood door. It is small and, like the restaurant, surprisingly modern with a polished granite floor. There is limited seating on some ugly, but trendy-looking bright pink rope chairs.
Exterior
It is an attractive traditional building.
Rooms
The rooms in this hotel vary very considerably in size, some being really very small whilst the larger ones are huge. They are decorated in a variety of styles as well - mostly traditional, but with differing colourschemes and types of furniture. Most of the rooms are in very good condition, but there are still some unrenovated rooms which are only in fair condition and will benefit from an overdue renovation shortly. Likewise the bathrooms - most are modern and in very good condition, but some are frankly poor.
Restaurant
The hotels restaurant is on the ground floor off the lobby and is disconcertingly modern in such a traditional building. It has an attractive solid wood floor, but the modern art and contemporary furniture might not be to everyone's taste. Also off the lobby is a cosy bar cum lounge.
