The merchants of Amsterdam once used this building as a sugar warehouse. The building is a national monument, elevators are not allowed in such buildings. The apartment is situated on the 1st floor with one flight of stairs. Your double room is en-suite, with a king size bed and flatscreen TV. Your room does not have a view. You will be sharing the living room and kitchen area with only Noel ; he is the owner and innkeeper of the property. Noel runs other properties as well, therefore he is rarely in the apartment.The B&B is in the heart of the historic city centre, less than 10 minutes walk from Amsterdam Central Station. The Dam Square with The Royal Palace is at 500 metres, just as the shopping street Kalverstraat. The airport Schiphol is at 18 km.
