Surrounded by 22 hectares of picturesque vineyards and located in the unspoilt hills of Bologna, this charming country house is situated just 10 km from Bologna city centre. Carlo Gaggioli and his daughter Maria Letizia have been running their family business since 1972. The hotel has developed over the years around a small, ancient group of houses behind the historic Castle of Zola. The country farm is famous for its fine Gaggioli wine, produced in the vineyards. The villa is composed of 7 spacious and fully-equipped rooms where you can relax after a day spent enjoying the beautiful natural surroundings.
The hotel is located in the hills, a few kilometers west of Bologna.

Borgo delle Vigne is a small and refined restaurant where you can find both traditional and innovative menus. In the internal room there are 35 seats and, during the spring and summer there are 50 seats in the nearby garden. The restaurant is open on Thursday and Friday, on Saturday for dinner, and for lunch on Sunday. The restaurant will be closed from 1st August 2007 to 9th September 2007. Every week the menu offers a special course. It is possible to eat à la carte or you can choose the ?tasting menu?: a complete meal (a rich starter, 2 main courses, one second course, side dishes and desserts) together with a taste of a particular wine for every single course.
