There are various cosy lounges, a lift and an intimate bar with signed photos of famous guests who have stayed at the hotel over the years (a favourite of the opera crowd and film stars) adorning the walls. This character hotel consists of 2 connecting houses the original building on the right and the newer wing on the left, with two small garden patios leading off the central lobby. Very stylish and smart, the hotel is elegantly furnished throughout with traditional Venetian antiques.
In the heart of the city, the hotel offers a unique chance to experience real Venetian life in a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere.

Lovely, and the air conditioning works!

From the moment i received an email from the receptionist, christina, confirming my booking, i knew our week's stay would be good. it brimmed over into very good indeed, due to the location, the air conditioning, the luxurious bathroom and the beauty of venice.
stay here if you want access to central venice and st mark's. it was surprisingly tranquil, given the bustle of the city. the gondolas sail past the breakfast room with the gondolieri singing as you eat. how good is that!
