There is a nice breakfast room reserved to the hotel' guests. For the apartment guests, breakfast is served in the apartment itself. Otherwise, if the apartment guest desires to have breakfast in the breakfast room, a supplement will be asked on the spot.

The Doge's Palace is next to the basilica. The original seat of the Republic of Venice government, the astounding Sala del Maggior Consiglio has been kept intact in this building, unrivaled for the size and quality of its frescoes. Spectacular. From the Doge's Palace you can visit the dungeons by crossing the Bridge of Sighs. Famous throughout the world and, according to legend, the prisoners' last chance to see the light of day before being shut in the dark underground dungeons. From St. Mark's Square, pass under the Clock Tower and walk down the Mercerie where you can shop for just about anything; the most important shopping street in Venice along with Via XXII Marzo and its fashion label boutiques.The Mercerie end at Rialto, where you'll find the lively daytime market and characteristic architecture of the bridge, one of the symbols of Venice; if you want to try the traditional Venetian cocktail, the ‘spritz’, go to the nearby Erbaria at sunset to enjoy the nightlife.
