Hotel Principe in Venice is a high-class hotel located on the Grand Canal which is near the 15th century palazzo known as Calbo-Crotta. The hotel has a water door entry that helps to create a more natural light. It is a 4 star hotel and has all the markings of its status. These include classy and polished furnishings, a sitting place with red and gold decorated chairs as well as unique lamps. Cream and green marble coloured walls make the walls look classy and beautiful. There is also a seating area with glass tables and red or yellow couches, conference facilities and a restaurant. Hotel Principe Venice building is considered to be one of the finest Gothic buildings on the whole of Grand Canal. If you have a keen architecture eye you will appreciate the beautifully designed narrow entrance that comprises of an arch with two columns plus a red staircase leading to the upper floors.

Great location

Ok for the price. close to train station and all other types of transportation. easy to walk to all attractions. rooms at bit on the small side and tired looking, but they were clean & breakfast was included.

Convenient classic hotel with train and water transport close by

This is a hotel value for money even though the breakfast has slightly less choice than the other hotels of similar type. the air con is functionality exceptionally well too. and the hotel is just a 2-minute-walk away from the train station. this will safe your trouble from dragging your luggage for a long distance.

Very enjoyable stay

I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to venice, mainly because of its location, but the service, the room, and the food were top quality too. the meal we had there on the 1st evening was the best we had all weekend and the breakfast was fine.
its a good distance from san marco but it was so manic over there that we were glad to get back to the principe, which is in a lovely little enclave and so chilled out. but you still get to see the real venice. be sure to sit outside the antiche figure watching the gondolas come and go, while sipping a cocktail.
