Exterior

Immersed in a park of 70 hectares of olive groves, the Relais Hist overlooking the Little Sea, about 10 km from the town of Taranto. From the Middle Ages, the farm now perfectly summarizes the encounter between nature and history, art and technology, sea and land, past and present. Since 2009, the pool will welcome the fresh foliage of the trees of olives and guests can enjoy the prosperity of the ancient Roman baths in a 1500 sqm SPA.

The Relais offers its guests 46 rooms, 39 rooms between Classic and Deluxe Suites and 7. 9 of which are located in the noble, while the remaining 37 arise in the Cloister dell'Antica Source. Each room invites guests to relax with their views on the sea or the cloister himself, and the comfort, with each being the most modern technologies.

Restaurant

The restaurant "La Lanternaia" offers dishes of traditional cuisine of Puglia and can accommodate up to 200 people, from 12.30 to 14.00 and 19.30 hours to 22.00 hours.

Location

Relais Histó is some hundred metres far from Mar Piccolo. The position between the natural environment and the town matches the possibility to dip into an oasis of peacefulness and the comfort of having all the services in handy. All around, protecting the memories of the place, an ancient stone wall stands out; once it was used to defend the building, while nowadays, like a shrine, hedges in a real treasure, surrounded by a marvellous, secular olive tree grove. Histò also have an outbuilding restored basilica, dating back to the I century AD. The ancient San Pietro and Andrea Basilica is now the ideal frame to welcome meetings and special events.
