Hotel Minareto was born on a promontory that draws from the lyric of its naturalistic beauties and from the charismatic power of history the pride of standing in front of the island of Ortigia, a masterpiece of art and history, a UNESCO heritage site. It is said that it is precisely on this hill, surrounded by the sea, and dominated by the imposing Red Lighthouse, that Archimedes placed the burning mirrors to burn the Roman fleet, and thus defend Syracuse from the siege of the consul Marco Claudio Marcello. Even today, the two ends of the gulf are reflected in each other revealing their centuries-old and mystical charm. Our structure extends over an area of ​​25,000 square meters, within the protected oasis of Plemmirio and in total harmony with the environment, enjoying the peace of a panoramic promontory and at the same time the fervor of the historic center, reachable by few minutes. Hotel Minareto has three different private accesses to the sea that allow our guests to enjoy both the soft golden sand of our beach, which evokes the classic Caribbean islets, and the rocky bottoms of the cliff, from which it is possible to enjoy a sea clear and dense vegetation, having the feeling of being on the open sea but at the same time feeling enveloped by the coast on which the hotel stands.The geographical position of the hotel is strategic for visiting Eastern Sicily (the Baroque heritage of UNESCO of Syracuse and Noto, the natural reserves of Vendicari, Cava Grande del Cassibile, Pantalica, the island of the Correnti, Piazza Armerina, Modica, Ragusa, Catania, Etna, Taormina).

We have 87 comfortable and brighty rooms, including Standard, Plus and Deluxe, and also 6 Junior Suites and 3 Suites You will be always surrounded by a mediterrean nature including many different garden plant, also secular olive trees, carob trees and palms. You will reach your room , crossing a decored footpath in a privacy atmosphere. Rooms are designed and produced hand-drawn by Prof. Roberto Bacci and Architect Filippo Bacci both famous architects from Tuscany, in three different styles: Harmony, Romantic and Deco. Our rooms are sea views and with large balconies furnished with chairs and tables where you can relax enjoying a particular and unique landscape on the sea of Ortigia island. Our guest will receive every kind of attention enjoying all our conforts and services .Exclusively for them we have realized a unique and personalized courtesy line , only high quality cosmetic products ; further it is possible from each room to be connected with internet using the LCD Samsung television with 32'' screen or whichever laptop, using ethernet cable. The Suites are very wide and confortable, real piece of art design, with an exclusive private access to the sea , to be part of a reserved and styled place.
