Nice hotel, great location, that is if we hadn't been moved

This is a lovely hotel in a great location, however because we had booked with hotels click and we had paid the lowest rate, when we got there the hotel was double booked and so we got moved to another hotel, a hotel that really was awful. the hotel did try to compensate by giving us a free meal on their terrace, which we took advantage of and was lovely, but not really the point after we trawled for hours to find the hotel and location we wanted. from the way the staff put it, it seemed like this was a common occurence, don't know what to recommend, it is a lovely hotel if you get to stay there.......
