An excellent property. Facilities include meeting room, beauty parlour, massage room, sauna, hairdresser, parking with fee, private garage, scooters for rent and golf and tennis. In the summertime a restaurant and bar service are available by the swimming-pool.
The hotel is located in a residentail area, few kilometres away from the centre of Rapallo, just across the bay from Portofino.

Beautiful hotel just far enough from the centre of rapallo

Set in a lovely old, grand building. it is easy to imagine the grandeur of it's past when taking a walk around it's corridors. it has been modernised nicely, so not to destroy the original style of the building. great terrace and pool make a nice addition without spoiling the aesthetics. rooms are modern but retain the grand styling. it is also not in the centre of rapallo but close enough to easily walk in or take the shuttle. this for me was a plus as the centre of rapallo is nice but a little crowded so was nice to have the relaxing atmosphere back at the hotel. rapallo gives easy access to portofino and this hotel is a great choice for a bit of luxury without the the hefty price tag of the small neighbouring town. it is also just over an hours drive (access by train by rapallo also) from the cinque terre so could easily be used as a base to explore.

lastly the restaurant on the top floor is absolutely wonderful. the views alone if you can get a table outside on the terrace are worth a visit alone but the food is simply exquisite.
