The hotel promote individual tours in the main sites of interest: Noto, Scicli, Modica, Siracusa, Caltagirone and Piazza Armerina. The hotel organizes also adventure excursions to discover the natural landscapes of this part of Sicily rich of valleys and human settlements unique for theri morphology and anthropological value.
Rooms
The 12 rooms (4 standard rooms, 3 junior suites and 5 suites) are disposed on 3 floors and are all differently furnished with design furniture, antiques, precious chandeliers and tissues.Each room is equipped with all amenities: satellite tv, air conditioned, safe, mini bar, surround music, cordless telephone. The junior suites have got steam shower while the Suites are all furnished either with steam shower or Jacuzzi and tv in the bathroom.
Restaurant
On sunny mornings buffet breakfast is served on the terrace. Guests will enjoy our wide choice of local honey, hand made jams and confitures. L’Antica Badia, has got two restaurants: “La Cuisine” in our first floor dining rooms, is open all seasons; La”Luna sui Tetti”, located on the terrace, has got a beautiful view on the Cathedral and on the old roofs of downtown.
Location
This 5 star hotel is situated in the historical centre of Ragusa at a short distance from Ibla and downtown shopping area. After a long and precise restoration, this beautiful XVIII century building opens its rooms to hospitality. The stairs that introduce to the house, in typical stone pitch and with inserts of white limestone - XVIII and XIX century - have been perfectly preserved as some ceramic floors in Caltagirone’s style from the same period. Thanks to the tireless local workforce, lounges have returned to their original majesty. The chandeliers that light the frescoed ceilings have been redesigned, from the original ones, by Murano’s glassmakers.
