Room was tiny and shabby but very clean and fine for 2 nights, certainly not 4*. we were allocated a double bed room at first even though our reservation clearly stated twin. it was switched no problem. breakfast was included in the price and fine except no juices. hotel is a little out of town and the taxis to and fro were expensive, dare i say rip off? the bus was cheap and frequent but this is not always as option. main gripe is that the swimming pool was shut for maintenance. we were informed of this less than 24 hours before our arrival which made it impossible to cancel the reservation without incurring costs. would recommend but if i was returning to pisa it wouldn't be my first choice

We stayed at the california park for a week in july 07. although we did enjoy our stay i would rate this hotel as 2star definately not 4.
it is clean, tidy and the pool is fantastic and the staff are friendly and helpful but not a place to go for luxury.
you do get what you pay for though.
i would stay here again.
